Jesús Díaz Malvar rated 90 by Parker
It has been selected as one of the best values from Spain available in the USA. In fact, its price on shelf is about $10.50.
"The 2007 Jesús Díaz Malvar [] (100%) 2007 is produced from an unique indigenous grape variety. The wine went through the malolactic fermentation but received no barrel treatment. Light straw-colored, it has an intriguing bouquet of resin, slate, guava, kiwi, and other tropical notes. On the palate, it comes off as an exotic fruit cocktail with intense dry flavor and excellent balance. Drink it over the next two years."

-Jay Miller (February 2009)
